We begin this season of our Entrepreneur Feature Biographies with Natacha Jarvis of Just Natural Beauty Products Her business, founded in August 2013 was described by her as the following:We are a small business specialize in creating affordable unique fashion jewelry. All our pieces, such as earrings, are handmade using the Crochet Technique. Our customers enjoy the privilege of having exclusive accessories for any occasion since the design options / color combinations are endless.On the other hand, we are the official retailer for the hair product line Entwine Couture. She purposes to offer top quality products to our customers while keeping them 100% satisfied!     We caught up with Natacha and she gave us a little insight into her journey:

YEA: How did you discover your love of your chosen field?
 

Nati Jarvis:I think it was always there waiting for the opportunity to be developed. I like to set trends, challenge fashion, experiment with my look. I realize that not only my friends asked me about my choices with accessories/clothing but also persons on the street. I soon found myself giving advice/ tip about what accessory is best for this outfit or about what hair product I can use to have my hair looking gorgeous. And that is when opportunity knocked my door and I did not hesitate to open it.
 

YEA: What inspired you to launch this particular business?
 

Nati Jarvis:My personal experience: I never had natural/short hair. I had to find my way to feel comfortable with the sudden change. I started building my new look and that involved finding accessories and adopting a new hair care regime. I looked around and realized I was not the only one going through some drastic changes so I decided to share my knowledge/tips with others. And this is how Just Natural was born. 

YEA: What appealed to you about the entrepreneurial lifestyle?
 

Nati Jarvis:First will be the daily challenge. Because of the nature of the business, it encourages me to be creative at all times. I do a lot of research to ensure that my clients are receiving the best advice and styles. Second will be the satisfaction of seeing how far my hard work can take me. 

YEA: What are your biggest challenges as a young entrepreneur?
 

Nati Jarvis:I will say not to disappoint my customers. I want to be that trusted source, the person they recommend to their friends because they know I will do my best to satisfy them.
 

YEA: What’s the dream? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10?

Nati Jarvis:I would love to be among the most popular stores in Antigua. I want my customer to see my business not only as the place where they can purchase what they need, but also where you can learn about how to select the best accessory or hair product depending on the needs. 

YEA: What Advice would you give to other young entrepreneurs like yourself? 

Nati Jarvis:The time to start developing your business is now. Rome wasn’t built in one day, so this will be the same principle for your business. It will not be easy but once you love what you do, you will find the strength to keep pushing and developing.
